How do i replace the rear roof speakers in a 2009 ram 1500 quad cab.

The center dash speaker in alpine equipped trucks are 3 1 2 models that are quite easy to remove and replace.
You should hear no voices in the door speakers just mid bass.
To do this first drop down the rear seats and find a set of fir tree pins at each side.
On my 2009 ram laramie with the alpine i put a thunderform box under the rear seat with two 10 re subs and a 2 piece hertz component speakers up front with the tweeter in that corner in the window.
Lift the grille disconnect the sensor wiring harness and remove the grille.
For ease of replacement use crutchfield harness 12071039 on all of these speakers.
For removal the dash speakers are each held in by two bolts which require a 7mm socket.
The large one will require a little leverage screwdriver to pop free.
The headliner speakers use the right and left rear audio signals.
It has just the six speakers.
Use a panel tool to pry up the speaker grille and release four clips.
Removing them is easy and aftermarket replacements are available but installing the new ones will take a little work on your part because there are no mounting brackets available.
To get at the rear speakers you will need to remove the 2 armrest panels and the rear deck carpet.
Next remove the two 7mm screws securing the speaker disconnect it and remove it.
The fix is simple though.
The headliner speakers are removed with a torx screw sized at 20.
The rear speakers get a full range sound voices and music but it is muffled because the speakers are not alpine speakers.
Installing alpine ive w530 into 2012 ram 1500 i bought a wiring harness to install into a 2012 ram 1500 without the alpine 9 speaker system.
Do i match up the wires for the speakers or do i have to change the for the ones.
There is an amplifier in the dash that separates the lows and highs between the doors low and dash high.
